FULFILLMENT & SHIPPING 

Orders placed via www.boltmotorcyclehardware.com are typically processed within 24 hours if placed Monday-Thursday, or before 12pm PST on Friday.  Orders placed after 12pm PST on Fridays, over the weekend, or on a legal holiday will be processed the next business day.  We make every effort to get your order processed quickly, however, fulfillment time is not guaranteed.

Domestic
$5 FLAT RATE SHIPPING on orders up to $100 and FREE SHIPPING on orders over $100 options are available only for domestic shipments to the United States. Selecting this option during checkout leaves the shipping method at our sole discretion.  A confirmation email with tracking information will be sent to the email address provided with your order. Alternately, customers may select a more specific shipping option.   Rates will be displayed during checkout and will vary depending on estimated weight and ship-to address. Credit for the free shipping or flat rate shipping will NOT be give if an alternate shipping method is selected. If you place a time sensitive order, please consult the carrier's website for time-in-transit information before submitting your order. Be aware that the day the order is submitted to the carrier does NOT count as a day-in-transit (i.e. an order placed Tuesday evening with 2nd day air option: processed and picked up by the carrier Wednesday, Thursday is Day 1 in transit, Friday is Day 2 in transit and delivery). All orders ship from Atascadero, California 93422.

International

We encourage international customers to check our Distributors Page to locate a dealer prior to ordering from our site.  Our products are heavy, so we have opted to offer the most ecomonical international shipping method on our website which is via the United States Postal Service (USPS) Priority Mail. Shipping cost is calculated based on product weight, however, actual shipping charges may be higher due to product dimensions.  Should this occur, we will contact you with your shipping options. Packages typically take 7-10 business days to reach their destination but may take up to 2 months depending on customs policies and practices in individual countries. USPS does not provide tracking numbers for International Priority Mail packages, however, customers will be provided with a US Customs Declaration number which provides limited information about the package progress. Bolt Motorcycle Hardware will make every attempt to assist you should your package be delayed, but will not be held liable for late, lost or misdirected mail. If you desire to use a carrier with a guanteed time-in-transit such as UPS or DHL (either of which are very expensive for international shipments), please contact us so we can make special arrangements. Regardless of shipping method, in addition to the international shipping charges, you will be responsible for any and all taxes, including VAT, duties, tariffs or other such charges placed or imposed by your country that may be associated with your purchase. By placing your order, you are agreeing that you will be responsible for and will pay, as due, all such charges, as applicable. We are required by law to use the actual value of the product on international customs declaration forms. Requests to use a “low dollar value” on said forms will be ignored.


RETURNS FOR REFUND OR EXCHANGE

Domestic Returns/Exchanges
You may exchange or return merchandise, in its original, unopened package within 30 days of purchase. Shipping charges are non-refundable unless the reason for return is the result of our error. If merchandise is exchanged, economy shipping will be provided, at Bolt Motorcycle Hardware’s expense, for the new product to be shipped back to you. Please carefully package your return (ideally in the original shipping carton) along with its packing materials. Enclose a copy of the sales receipt and please indicate if an exchange or refund is desired.  Include your daytime phone number so we can contact you with any questions. We recommend that you insure your package and obtain tracking information from the carrier.   We are not responsible for late, lost or mis-directed packages.

Because we do not store credit card information, we are unable to access the original payment information used to process your order. Therefore, in order for us to process an exchange with a difference in value, we will need to obtain your credit card information. Please include the best phone number to reach you with your exchange. DO NOT send credit card information via email. Once your exchange has been processed and shipped, a confirmation email with tracking information will be sent to the email address provided with your order.

International Returns/Exchanges
You may return or exchange merchandise, in its original, unopened package within 30 days of purchase.  Arrangements must be made on a case-by-case basis. Please contact us via email at info@boltmotorcyclehardware.com to make arrangements for international returns and exchanges.  DO NOT send credit card information via email.

Refunds
You may expect a refund within 7-14 days after we have received your return. Refunds are issued in the same form of payment that was used for the original purchase. Once a refund has been issued, a confirmation email will be sent to the email address provided on your order.
